The cat flap runs on 4 AA batteries (sold separately), which typically last for up to a year and a low battery indicator light flashes when the batteries need replacing.
A four-way manual lock on the front of the cat flap enables you to override the microchip-operated lock.
The cat flap is a drop-in replacement for many existing cat flaps and is easy to install in wooden or uPVC doors and can also be fitted into glass or walls – Separate accessories are available to complete glass or wall installations.

Glass mounting dimensions – 212mm
A circular hole is required to install the cat flap in glass. The optimum hole size is 212mm, but the cat flap can be installed into holes up to 260mm in diameter.
